Shout to the World! The Title Song Presented by the Top Composer Yoo, Young-Jin (유영진), ‘DON’T DON’

The title song of the 2nd album, ‘Don't Don’, has an impressive title which implicitly expressed the underlying meaning of the song through the homonyms; “Don” which sounds as “money” in Korean) and “Donda” which sounds as “insane”, madness or craziness in Korean, and it is a S.M.P(SM Music Performance) which made a balanced combination of rock and R&B and incorporated many musical elements such as the heavy guitar riff (a technique which repeatedly plays short phrases to give dynamic and energetic feeling), quickly progressing urban style drum pattern, and electric violin solo in the song.

The lyric has the message for building up a world that everyone dreams of, the world that can protect the naivety of our children instead of the world filled with distorted human desire such as money and hypocrisy. All members changed their images into style which represents masculinity and strong charisma including Kang In who became the man in the news for extraordinary hairstyle, and the splendid performance that will be made in a completely different way is expected to capture the eyes and ears of music fans at a breath.

Sweet Song of Proposal Sung by Super Junior ‘Marry U’, ‘I am’ with the Lyric Personally Written by Super Junior Members

‘Marry U’ is a sweet medium ballad song for proposal chanted with the tender voices of Super Junior members, and it combines the soft melody and lyric and the perfect arrangement. The interesting part of the exciting pop dance song, ‘I AM’ is the lyric that is written by Leeteuk, Sungmin, Donghae and Eunhyuk about a celebrity who does live the life of splendor but only wishes to be an ordinary man to a person he loves.

‘Our Love’ Remade with Super Junior’s Unique Sound and Feel, the Bonus Track ‘Song for You’

Super Junior’s 2nd album also made new approaches such as the cover song and the CCM in the bonus track.

The cover song, ‘Our Love’ was originally composed by the late singer, Yoo, Jae-ha (유재하), who has been popular since the 1980’s, and the elegant arrangement which kept the beautiful feeling of the original song as much as possible and the efforts of Super Junior outstand in the song. ‘Song for You’ in the bonus track is originally a CCM song and it was reinterpreted with Super Junior’s unique sound and feels to contain the message of love and blessing for everyone.

The album includes total 14 songs in various genres including the ballads, ‘Hate U, Love U’ and ‘She's gone’ that show the more mature vocalism of Super Junior, the cheerful song, ‘Sapphire Blue’ which transfers Super Junior’s unique charms, the song with unique charms from the combination of ballad and dance, ‘You're my endless love’, and the trendy song of the 1980’s reinterpreted in modern style, ‘Midnight Fantasy.’
